"Westerwoldse Aa"

In opdracht van museum Het MOW.
Voor de groepstentoonstelling "Ons laand" heeft Petra F.M. Sluijters dit werkje gemaakt. Opdracht: Maak een kunstwerkje op een pandel 40/40 cm dat een impressie van het Westerwoldse landschap weergeeft.
Petra koos ervoor de rivier Westerwoldse Aa te schilderen en een gedicht over deze rivier te schrijven. Dit gedicht kan men horen, wanneer men met een app op het werk schijnt. De beelden bij dit gedicht in de VideoArt vertellen eveneens het verhaal van het Westerwoldse landschap.
Schilderijtje hang nu bij de nieuwe eigenaar een bewoonster in Oost Groningen die regelmatig langs de Westerwoldse Aa loopt.

 

Kijkers kunnen met hun telefoon de Videokunst te bekijken.

At museum 'Het MOW".
Petra F.M. Sluijters created this work for the group exhibition "Ons laand" (Our Country). The assignment was: "Create a small artwork on a 40x40 cm panel that depicts an impression of the Westerwold landscape".
Petra chose to paint the Westerwoldse Aa river and write a poem about it. This poem can be heard when with an app on your phone. The images accompanying this poem in the VideoArt also tell the story of the Westerwold landscape.
The painting now hangs with its new owner, a resident of East Groningen, who regularly walks along the Westerwoldse Aa.
